Recorded-event replay
Replay actual events and recorded outcomes. Nothing is randomly generated. The forecast simulation does not run in this view.
1. Supply the recorded history
Download the event workbook, read Help, and replace Data with your records. The Example tab contains 30 illustrative events. Each event needs a timestamp in elapsed seconds, a record ID, its recorded state and a source reference. Measured values are optional: use none / 0 / none for events without a metric.

Coverage and interpretation
Every record starts with an opened event representing its first observed state. Subsequent events use activity; the final outcome may use closed. Unclosed records remain open. Events are ordered by time, then workbook row order for ties. Next timestamp applies all events at that time.
Metric values are additive changes (such as a payment or stock movement), not balances or percentages. Each metric must use one unit; currencies are never converted. Totals cover supplied events only. Stage and resource can be not_recorded when unavailable. No missing history, resources, capacity, costs or outcomes are invented.
Observed duration is last recorded time minus first recorded time; it is not necessarily full cycle time. This view reports history rather than calculating alternative outcomes or forecasting. Existing model animations and forecast-specific dashboards do not represent this replay.
Files remain in this browser tab. Reloading clears the data. Export results before leaving if you need to keep them.
